Therapy is an investment in you. When evaluating the costs for therapy, please keep in mind the importance you have for health and wellness. We will do our best to determine to help you sort out costs.
We are contracted with several major insurance companies, and our providers are on different insurance panels based on their areas of service, credentialing and licensure status, and other factors.
Our providers are able to see clients who are covered by insurance and/or who would prefer to pay out of pocket. Payment for services can be made by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or HSA/FSA cards. We can keep a card on file so that you don’t need to provide payment information each session.
Our office staff are happy to submit claims for our clients to most insurance companies; however, it’s important to know that not all of our therapists participate with all insurance companies. Please ask our office staff if the therapist you’re scheduled to see participates with your particular insurance company before your first visit.
We also recommend contacting your insurance company directly to verify your coverage for mental health services and to ask if you will be responsible for a deductible and/or copay. Your deductible and/or copay is due at the time of service.
We bill the following insurance companies. Please make sure before your first visit with us that your therapist participates with your plan. This list is not all-inclusive, so if your insurance company is not listed below, feel free to call our business office to see if we can submit your claim.
Our fee for the first session (Initial Evaluation) for all new clients is $130-$225 and is based on the level of education and experience of the therapist. Subsequent sessions are $120-180 for individual therapy.
If you’re unable to attend a scheduled session, be sure to notify our office at 484-509-0499 at least 24 hours in advance. If you have an appointment scheduled on Monday, we require notice by 5pm the Friday before. Otherwise, you will be charged a late cancellation fee. Insurance does not cover no-shows and late cancellations, so these fees will be your responsibility.
Canceling at least 24 hours in advance gives your therapist an opportunity to offer your time slot to another client who may be waiting to be seen.
Under the No Surprises legislation which took effect in 2022, health care providers need to give individuals who are not enrolled in a participating group or individual health plan, or an uninsured (self-pay) individual, an estimate of their bill for health care items and services before those items or services are provided.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any health care items or services upon request or when scheduling such items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
You can also ask any health care provider or facility for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you do, make sure the health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after you ask.If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more for any provider or facility than your Good Faith Estimate from that provider or facility, you can dispute the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises/consumers, email FederalPPDRQuestions@cms.hhs.gov, or call 1-800-985-3059.
